Hidden Acres northern Wisconsin lake cabin rentals is a small resort consisting of four rental cabins, each one fronting directly on Iron Lake with it's private dock and 16 foot aluminum boat included in the rental price.
Here you have all the quiet beauty of the north woods while being located only 4 miles from the small town of Iron River, which has a supermarket, bait stores and numerous restaurants with fine home cooking to please any taste.
Iron River, Wisconsin is located 5 miles from the Chequamegon National Forest, 6 miles from the Brule River State Forest and a 1 Hour Drive from both Duluth - Superior and the Apostle Islands between Cornucopia and Bayfield.
Iron Lake is best known as the home of the state record bluegill, but is also actively fished for northerns, perch, bass and sunfish.
Iron Lake is a 247 - acre lake with depths up to 20 feet, is entirely spring fed, very clear water with a good weed bed which accounts for the excellent fish count! Iron Lake has one outlet, the Iron River, for which the town is named.
Loons are a common sight as our herons, ducks, otters and muskrat. We are lucky enough to have an active eagle nest where we watch daily the antics of the current residents!
Each cabin has a screen porch, full kitchen with cookware and microwave, color TV, and Weber grill. Bed linens are provided.
Please bring your own bath and kitchen towels.
Hidden Acres is centrally located near ATV & snowmobile trails-State, County and National Forests.
